Here are my suggestions:
1. Something with pattern--how to wear pattern, how to mix patterns, etc...

2. An accessories episode. You show glimpses of some great pieces...would love to see more!

can you please do a segment on formal/informal dresses and the accessories to go with them?

Accessories it is! I will include formal v.s informal ways to wear them using dresses. I will also do some daytime and nighttime ways to rock the same piece... Thanks for the ideas!!!

I'm not even sure if this is possible but, could you maybe "take us along" on a shopping excursion to somewhere affordable? I know that I tend to buy things that are on sale, mostly because they are cheap. Seeing examples of things to fill my closet with that are timeless and could be used in different ways would be a big help.

Let me think about that one... It is nearly impossible to get permission from most of the stores I buy discount from (Loehmann's, TJ Maxx, Filenes) to film there. Maybe I can get my favorite sample/consignment store in the East Village in NYC to participate... I will figure it out!

I would love for you to do a segment on how to tie pareos/sarongs! Similiar to your scarf segment!

Thanks!

Hey Amy,

I'm a new viewer (found you while youtubing ways to tie scarves.. hehe). Awesome/hilarious/helpful videos and blog! I would love to see an episode where you modify a few outfits (or find variations on the same outfit) to look flattering on women of different body types. My main issue with shopping is that I have, what I consider, an atypical body shape. I'm only 5'0, but have a big chest, then whatever excess weight I have packs onto my stomach, while my arms and legs are pretty skinny. I have issues finding tops that conceal my stomach (without being ridiculously baggy or looking like maternity shirts). Then I have issues finding pants that are loose enough in the waist, but tight through the legs (think size 7-9 waist, size 3-5 legs.. impossible unless I cut/pasted two pairs together). My closet is PACKED with clothing that I never wear.. your episode on closet organization did inspire me to start tossing some stuff though!

Hi Holly. I totally feel your pain, I work with clients who have similar problems and they are always so thankful when I explain ways to compliment their body type. I have really been trying to conquer the problem of finding different body types for my episodes. I have friends of all shapes and sizes, but for some reason my friends in NYC (where I film) are all small!!!! I am going to write more blog posts about different body shapes and how to dress them to look your best! I will keep working on it!!!!
